The mysterious Schlossberg-caves
The Schlossberg-caves were made by man, so they are some kind of miningtunnels in reality. Originally the sand was used for manufacturing glass in the 17th century, because of its high percentage of quartz. Later on the mining of quartz was used as scouring sand for cleaning but also as moulding sand in the ironindustry.

Fun Forest adventure park Homburg
On a surface of approx. 2 ha are connected in Homburg/Jägersburg by 90 trees and 120 landings with approx. 10,000 m steel cable. So that the visitors with helmet and belt, as secured with mountain pastes, can run off the park at a value of 2 to 15 m, without affecting the ground. Also a Kids Parcours for children was provided starting from 6 years. Altogether 6 different Parcours with different difficulty levels are disposal to the visitors.

Wolfspark Werner Freund
For over 30 years, I practice wolfresearch. In this time I raised up more than 70 wolves in my wolfspark Werner Freund in Merzig ( Saarland/Germany ) To practice this kind of research I became wolf among the wolves and Merzig became the new home for me and the wolves. At the moment the wolfspark inherites 21 grown up wolves wich are arctic. European, Siberian and Indian wolves.

The Sommerrodelbahn at the Petermountain in Braunshausen is a fun for the whole family. You are carried in few minutes by a modern Liftersystem on the 584 m high mountain. It goes with the bob 1000 meters downhill. The special Clou: You can start, accelerate and even brake.

The Tramposaarium at the Bostalsee
Right beside beautiful Bostalsee and located next to a real German Biergarten, you find the Tramposaarium, the largest outdoor trampoline facility in southwest Germany.
